                Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" is one of the most-awaited releases of 2016 and the hype can be seen from its advance-booking ticket sales. The advance booking of "Fan," which will be released in theaters April 15, have commenced in India on a good note.<br />                  The advance booking counter opened in India Sunday and has received a good response until now. Opening the advance booking counter five days before the film's release is a good move, as it will engage more moviegoers. "Fan" can get a bumper opening if the opening day pre-booking ticket sales record a good occupancy.<br />                 The pre-booking ticket sales of "Fan" picked up after Sunday. Within a day, tickets at several theatres have been already sold out, especially in the National Capital Region (NCR). The advance booking response is similar in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata region, where shows are going houseful. While at some places the tickets are already sold out, at some places it's filling up fast.<br />                "Fan" opening day occupancy will increase further before its release as the pre-release word of mouth is strong. The thriller drama will have a good opening Friday, as the advance booking report is good and the higher ticket rates will ensure that the film will have a good opening.<br />The ticket prices of "Fan" night shows are between Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 in NCR, in Mumbai the first-day night show ticket rates are in Rs. 700 range, while in Bangalore it's between Rs. 700 to Rs. 1,000 at some theatres, according to online ticket booking portal Bookmyshow.com.<br />"Fan," starring Shah Rukh in double roles, is directed by Maneesh Sharma. The film is about a superstar Aryan Khan and his fan Gaurav Khanna, both played by Shah Rukh.          An inspirational cover of an Eminem song posted on YouTube has made a 12-year-old boy an internet star.Sparsh Shah's Indian-infused version of "Not Afraid" has been viewed more than 20 million times and has won praise from famous R&B singers and Bollywood celebrities.</h3>
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
        Sparsh said that until a few months ago he’d “never listened to rap” but hopes the video can inspire others. “No matter who you are, where you’re from and how bad life may be for you, you can do anything, you can believe it and you can achieve it,” he said.</h3>
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
          The 12-year-old has a brittle bone disease which means he uses a wheelchair and has “the constant burden of breaking bones”. He said his disease brings “a little more suffering” but his attitude is to “shove it off” and get on with life.</h3>

          Like a typical pre-teen, 12-year-old Sparsh Shah loves a good game of Minecraft on the iPad. He spends a lot of time on his smart devices because unlike his peers, Sparsh can't run or walk or even stand.</h3>
<h3>
          But what he can do is sing.The New Jersey eighth-grader has had 125 bone fractures so far in his young life, a result of osteogenesis imperfecta, a genetic disease that causes his bones to be very fragile.</h3>

           The brittle bone disease has stunted Sparsh's growth and confined him to a wheelchair -- but it hasn't touched his spirit.</h3>

           He's found his passion in music, and has written 10 original songs. But it's his clean cover of the 2010 Eminem song "Not Afraid," fused with Indian classical music, that's caught the ear of more than 2 million people on social media and launched him toward stardom.Sparsh, who lives in Iselin, is paying it forward as an ambassador for St. Jude's, participating in dozens of charitable performances. And he's also in the National Honor Society. </h3>

          "He's not treated as disabled," said father Hiren Shah. "It's made a huge difference in his outlook, always very positive." Sparsh already has quite a collection of awards and trophies from competitions from all over the tri-state. But his goal is to reach a billion people, not just with music, but with his message. </h3>

           "If I can inspire one person to change his or her life just because of me, it seems so humbling when I think about, that's enough purpose in my life to keep me going," he said, his right arm in a sling from a recent surgery to insert a rod like the ones in his left arm and both legs. </h3>

            And it wouldn't hurt to hear from the artist that inspired him so."If we could perform a duet together, that would be the best thing ever," he said. </h3>

<br />Two Florida hunters said they bagged a nearly 800-pound alligator that had been feasting on their farm cattle.<br />Lee Lightsey, who owns the hunting business Outwest Farms in Okeechobee, spotted the nearly 15-foot alligator over the weekend in a cattle pond while on a gator hunt with his guide, Blake Godwin, according to news reports.<br />"Although this animal is huge, I was not that surprised it existed," Lightsey told BBC News. "We have come across lots over the last 20 years that have been only a little smaller.<br />    "But what really drew our attention to this animal was the fact that it seems to have been feasting on the cattle on my farm, because mutilated body parts were found in the water. It was a monster which needed to be removed."Godwin told a Fox affiliate that the giant gator came to the surface about 20 feet in front of them and Lightsey shot it.The alligator was so enormous, Godwin said, the hunters had to use a farm tractor to pull it from the cattle pond.   Lightsey calls himself a lifetime hunter who has been in the business for more than 18 years. After Saturday's kill, the group posted a picture on Facebook, saying it was "the largest gator we have ever killed in the wild!"</h3>

     As attention on the alligator hunt spread, the group appeared to take down the post.Lightsey's Outwest Farms supervises hunts for alligators, wild boar and Osceola Turkeys, according to the company's website. Prices are listed between $350 for bass fishing and $1,800 for a three-day turkey hunt.<br />Outwest Farms alligator kills range from $550 for a four- to five-foot gator and $10,000 for one larger than 13 feet.<br />The American alligator population in the United States "reached all-time lows in the 1950s, primarily due to market-hunting and habitat loss," according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. But in 1987, the alligator - a member of the crocodile family - "was pronounced fully recovered, making it one of the first endangered species success stories," according to the government.<br />Still, the American alligator is a federally protected species, according to the Fish and Wildlife Service, which notes:</h3>

<br />      "Although the American alligator is secure, some related animals - such as several species of crocodiles and caimans - are still in trouble. For this reason, the Fish and Wildlife Service continues to protect the alligator under the ESA classification as 'threatened due to similarity of appearance.' The Service thus regulates the harvest of alligators and legal trade in the animals, their skins, and products made from them, as part of efforts to prevent the illegal take and trafficking of endangered 'look-alike' reptiles."<br />          in Florida, the American alligator is listed as "a species of special concern," according to the state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, which notes that "state law prohibits killing, harassing or possessing alligators" - though the state does have three programs "for harvesting alligators from the wild."<br />The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says that though alligators fall under federal protections, state-approved management and control programs permit those with proper licenses to take them.<br />Lightsey notes on Outwest Farms' website that he has been "commercially hunting alligators since they have been able to be harvested starting in 1988."<br />"Florida alligators can be taken year round with any weapon," he said. "Typically I hunt alligator with a rifle or bow from a swamp buggy on private property."<br />Outwest Farms did not respond to requests for comment.<br />Still, the recent catch drew mixed reactions from commenters on the group's Facebook page.<br />"Y'all have so much controversy on social media, half say it's fake other half think your (sic) animal murderers," one Facebook user wrote. "I say great job guys!"<br />The hunters plan to have the alligator stuffed for display, but will donate the meat to charity.</h3>

            Sasken Communication Technologies   today said it has reached a settlement with China-based semiconductor vendor Spreadtrum wherein the latter will pay USD 45 million as damages to it for unauthorised use of its protocol stack IP. "We wish to inform you that we have reached a settlement with Spreadtrum Communications and Beijing UniSpreadtrum Technology in connection with the unauthorised use of Sasken's protocol stack IP, by the said companies," the company said in a filing to BSE. This settlement brings to an end the ongoing arbitration and terminates all ongoing obligations of the parties under the relevant agreements, Sasken said. "Spreadtrum will pay Sasken USD 45 million as damages/ compensation before March 31, 2016 towards this settlement.   <br />                     The formal settlement document is expected to be finalised in the next few days," it added. Rajiv Mody, CMD and CEO of Sasken said this award comes as a resounding validation of it being the industry leader in a host of mobility and digital technologies. "In just over two decades we have successfully transitioned from being a pioneer in the product engineering space to a company that is admired and respected for its ability to provide world-class solutions to marquee customers in the wireless communication and physical to digital space," Mody said in a separate statement.
